IntervalsCheck every ...Specify the channel update interval. We suggest to specify intervals about 2...3 times shorter than the average time between target page updates. In example, if you want to monitor weather conditions on some web site that updates information every 3 hours, set your interval to 1...1.5 hours. The shorter interval would be, the faster you will know that the page has been updated. Alert On ErrorsWhen an HTTP error occurs during the channel check, the alert box or tray balloon tooltip is displayed with the descriptive error message. This can be useful to be notified immediately when the page has been moved or deleted from server. Alert On General ChangesWhen turned on, WatzNew will check the page for general changes and inform you of updates. This is the simplest way to monitor your pages for updates, but not the efficient one, because most dynamically generated pages change their size or content every time you download them (in example, pages that have visitor counters, random quotations or news, etc.). To make your channel more "clever", you should define Search pattern and message template macros reference for it. Once your search pattern is defined, you should turn this option off to avoid false alerts.
